Take a reminiscent tour through Bratislava's off-the-beaten-track locations of its communist past - as well as the more recent transformations of the city - in a legendary 70’s Czechoslovak Škoda car or crappy 8-seater Škoda 1203 van.
Visit sites such as a vast concrete housing estate area, the Soviet monument Slavín, abandoned factories, a 1930’s bunker line, the former Iron Curtain border zone and loads of communist architecture. The tour brings alive the 20th century history of Bratislava - the political changes, the town’s location on the border, the contrasts between rich and poor, the development of society, and its architecture.
